Our second beta has arrived, now with uses for features introduced last update, along with tons of new features. It also includes lots of code optimization!
Additions
Dyed Bundles
Created using a dye in the middle of the usual bundle recipe
Very useful for organization
Phantom Item Frame
Created by making an item frame with a phantom membrane instead of leather
Turns invisible when there’s an item inside it
Consistent Trapdoor Recipes
All trapdoor recipes now give 6 trapdoors
Snail Mucus Usage
You can now put snail mucus into your tea to increase the duration of the negative effect immunity from 5:00 to 7:30.
Changes
Jewelry Table
Now requires amethyst dust for fuel (Is used up when adding gemstones, potions, etc.)
Pristine gemstones are no longer craftable through random chance when stonecutting crystalline items
Adding 64 amethyst dust creates a pristine ring
The enchantment slot has been removed, along with the ability to add the Flame, Channeling, and Thorns enchantments. These enchantments were stealing the spotlight from vanilla items, couldn’t be applied via anvil, and didn’t take XP. Now, all the valid enchantments (Vanishing, Mending, Unbreaking), can be applied via anvil, rather than the jewelry table.
The jewelry table may be a tad laggy in this snapshot, due to a Mojang bug that should be fixed by next beta.
The jewelry table recipe has been updated to include an amethyst shard, so you can’t make it until you have the proper fuel to use it. You can find this recipe in the compendium.
A small “recipe book” has been added to the side to give you some hints on how to properly craft rings
Paintbrush
Paintbrushes can now paint candles
Boomerang
Updated blocks the boomerang can go through
Photometer
Tweaked the photometer recipe
Amethyst Dust
Tweaked the drop rate of amethyst dust from smashing amethyst blocks with an anvil
Miscellaneous Changes
Updated the majority of code so it no longer uses a shulker box in order to load the proper items for item modification
Removals
Miscellaneous Removals
The generation of the tundra keep has been TEMPORARILY removed due to a Mojang bug. Sadly, any biome I edit causes your worlds to completely corrupt and turn unplayable. Don’t worry, I’ll re-add them once Mojang fixes this issue.
Fixes
There somehow managed to be no fixes in this snapshot! Either nobody found any bugs, or we’re just that good at coding! …it’s probably the former.
