TCC’s newest mobs have finally been introduced. First, we’ve got a newcomer slowly sliding in from the sidelines… the snail! Secondly, we’ve got a reworked version of a mob delayed several months ago, the geomancer! This beta includes those two mobs, some snail related-features, and a bunch of other optimizations and other content.
Basically, an absolute ton of content. Have fun!
Additions
Snail
They’re snaily!
Very very slow
Do not spawn naturally yet. Use /function tcc:commands/summon/snail
Randomly create snail mucus, (see Beta 3), a slime equivalent, with greater spawn rates at night
Can be bucketed!
- Simply click on a snail with a single bucket in your mainhand
- Snails in buckets will maintain all data of the snail you pick up, whether it be potion effects or current amount of health
Are somewhat incomplete. More behaviors to come in the future.
Geomancer
Replace all witches below y=40
Attack using different kinds of pillars, which can either entrap you in deepslate or explode you
Drops amethyst dust, deepslate, amethyst shards, and rarely a pristine amethyst gemstone
Comes with a spawn egg that is obtainable via peculiar berries
Phantom Item Frame Particles
Added a particle for phantom item frames disappearing
Miscellaneous Additions
Due to the fact that Mojang broke the code behind the tundra keep, iceologers will now spawn naturally in mountains and snowy biomes. Watch out, they’ll crush you with ice!
Changes
Ancient Acorn
Heavily reduced duration from two hours down to five minutes
Are now traded by wandering traders at a price of 20-30 emeralds
Miscellaneous Changes
Generally optimized some code
Snapshot updates:
- Updated infested deepslate to be rotatable with a wrench
- Added axolotl and glow squid to peculiar berries loot tables (A little late on this one, I know!)
Fixes
#42: The damage system doesn’t obey totems of undying when killing players
