This beta is rather small. However, the changes it brings are rather… explosive.
Additions
Snail Beetroot Healing
Feeding a snail beetroot will now give it regeneration for a small amount of time
Villager Bed Exploding
Villagers that try to use a bed in the nether or end will now explode. If you can’t do it, neither can they!
Changes
Geomancer
The geomancer is now a force to be reckoned with. He’s no longer a wimpy old man that cowers in fear and struggles to cast spells.
His explosive pillar radius has been buffed to 7 blocks up from 5
He will now ALWAYS summon explosive pillars if you’re too close
After casting any pillar spell, he will chase after you
The explosive pillar summoning algorithm has been generally improved, so pillars can spawn in the tightest of caves
If the both the explosion and trap spells don’t fit the space, he will resort to giving you mining fatigue for two minutes to prevent your escape
He can now see through his own trap pillars, meaning that he can summon explosive pillars on you even when he’s surrounded you with normal deepslate pillars
Obsidian Mirror Texture
The obsidian mirror texture is now rounded again
Miscellaneous Changes
21w19a rolled around, and we needed to update quite a bit.
Updated every instance of the /item command to use the new syntax
Updated the block breakers to follow the new added tool block tags
- This comes with new “additions” and “denied” block tags for each block breaker. If you want to allow a specific block breaker to mine a block, simply add it to the “additions” list. The “denied” list is the exact opposite, preventing the block breaker from mining said block.
Fixes
Fixed a small error with spawners spawning snails
Fixed a capitalization error in the geomancer death message
#49: Shift-Clicking a gemstone recipe output item gives you recipe output as single, unstackable items
