This is a work-in-progress beta version. There may be incomplete features or bugs, and everything is subject to change. Make backups, proceed at your own risk, and have fun!

There were a few issues with the last beta, and several changes that I wanted to make, so here’s a second beta with some tweaks and additions.

Also, it’s only been 2 days since the last beta… gotta say, I love my new publishing scripts.

Additions

Miscellaneous Additions

  • Added two new advancements for entering a creaking crypt and eating resin candy at night
  • Added a new panorama image featuring the creaking crypt

Changes

Resin Candy

  • Increased yield of recipe from 1 to 3
  • Increased nutrition during daytime to 2
  • Now has a different texture during night time
  • Can no longer give bonus saturation in non-overworld dimensions when it is night in the overworld

Creaking Crypt

  • Now spawns MUCH more often
  • Now functions with the echoing hourglass

Enchanter

  • Enchanters are now much much more threatening
  • Rather than giving a random potion effect for a short time (strength, speed, regeneration, or resistance), they instead give full damage immunity, regeneration, and a damage boost.
  • This effect is telegraphed via enchanting glyph particles spawning around the mob every second, as well as sounds and particles when you hit the affected mob.
  • Enchanter movement speed is now much higher as well, so you’ll struggle to catch them more often
  • Enchanters will no longer target non-illager mobs, making it less likely that they waste an enchantment on a random mob lurking outside the mansion
  • Enchanters now attempt to enchant mobs more often

Woodland Mansion Rework

  • Updated mushroom farm to use podzol so mushrooms no longer break in light
  • Added a hidden chest to a large storage room in the basement
  • Ensured consistent railing design for mansion basement rooms
  • Added two new banner/loom rooms

Root Dye Recipes

Replaced the smelting recipe for cyan dye from nether sprouts

  • Instead, now warped roots give cyan dye, while crimson roots give red dye

Fixes

  • Fixed paintbrushes not taking damage in your offhand
  • Fixed several mansion rooms having item entities saved in them
  • Fixed a hidden door in the mansion that could sometimes fail to work due to redstone directionality
  • Fixed several creaking crypt templates missing pots
