Smoldering seekers are special compasses crafted with nether bricks that point to the nearest nether fortress when clicked in the nether. No more searching for eons!

A simple recipe… the real challenge is following the compass through the treacherous nether.
History

| 1.1.0 | Beta 3 | * | The smoldering seeker now points to the nearest fortress instead of the nearest unexplored fortress
The vanilla fortress advancement now branches off from the smoldering seeker advancement |
| 1.0.1 | + | New Smoldering Seeker Sound Smoldering seekers now play a sound when activated | |
| 1.0.0 | * | Are now crafted with nether bricks instead of the now-removed obsidian shard. | |
| 0.5.0 | Beta 3 | * | Tons and tons of texture changes. Dyed bundles, frostblooms, frostbloom petals, gobblerifts, sweet berry muffins, swordfish, jewelry tables, enchanters, iceologers, cakes, bat wings, lockets of learning, peculiar berries, rings, smoldering seekers, teacups, and rotten porkchops. Basically anything that looked kinda iffy last version. They’ve all been fixed up. Frostblooms are my particular favorite this version, they’ve definitely got quite the glow-up. Especially the petals, too! |
| 0.4.0 | * | Smoldering seekers can now be found in ruined portal loot | |
| 0.3.2 | + | A new item crafted with obsidian shards that points to the nearest nether fortress when activated. | |
