Sprouters are a long-lost cousin of the sniffer. Their eggs are found in cold ocean ruins. their necks sprout scalesprouts, which can be sheared off once they have grown to full size, and are also the item used to breed them.

When grown to full size, they begin to grow scalesprouts (see below section) from their necks
