The swordfish is a food… or is it a weapon? Who knows! It can be fished up about 1% of the time, or 2% when you’re in a frozen ocean biome due to biome-based fishing. Drowned also spawn with them 5% of the time.
History
| 1.6.1 | * | Swordfish now have a fun custom death message. Look up what “cornobbling” means! | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.3.4 | * | The swordfish now stacks to 64 (no more cramping up your fishing chests!) You can now apply sharpness and all sword enchantments to your swordfish
It can now perform sweep attacks and cut bamboo and cobwebs faster It is still unbreakable It has the enchantability of a stone sword | |
| 1.0.1 | + | Drowned with Swordfish Drowned now have a 5% chance to spawn with a swordfish Yes, they deal extra damage with a swordfish in their mainhand. Watch out! | |
| 1.0.0 | + | Swordfish Death Message Death message for killing yourself with a renamed swordfish | |
| 0.5.0 | Beta 3 | * | Tons and tons of texture changes. Dyed bundles, frostblooms, frostbloom petals, gobblerifts, sweet berry muffins, swordfish, jewelry tables, enchanters, iceologers, cakes, bat wings, lockets of learning, peculiar berries, rings, smoldering seekers, teacups, and rotten porkchops. Basically anything that looked kinda iffy last version. They’ve all been fixed up. Frostblooms are my particular favorite this version, they’ve definitely got quite the glow-up. Especially the petals, too! |
| Beta 1 | * | Improved gobblerift, sweet berry muffin, and swordfish textures | |
| 0.2.0 | + | Edible Swordfish Swordfish can now be eaten, but beware, they are swords after all! | |
| 0.1.0 | + | A new weapon which can be fished up as a treasure. It does about as much damage as a stone sword, but since it is a fish, it can’t be enchanted and has no durability. It also cannot be tipped with potions. | |
