These items were brewed using a teapot, and prevented different negative effects for 5 minutes when drank.

History

1.5.0X
  • This feature was awkward and led to several balance issues I was not happy with
  • It allowed you to prevent potion effects from dual potions, and this made blind rage not be able to reach usable potential due to the fear of making it wildly unbalanced due to blindness immunity
  • Allowed you to completely ignore core mechanics of structures, like mining fatigue and darkness
  • Apparently, the majority of you use this feature for the fun of making tea instead of actually using it in gameplay, so I would rather not continue maintaining this feature if the main use is having tea parties
1.4.0*

Teapot

Teapots can now be waterlogged and placed underneath slabs/trapdoors

1.3.6+

1.21 Effect Teas

Added four new teas for all the 1.21 negative effects

1.3.4*

Teapot

The teapot now has a hook for a real custom sound rather than just playing the armor stand break sound

1.2.0*

You can now break teapots by punching them (similarly to armor stands), rather than having to break the campfire they are on

Torchflowers are now the ingredient for blindness immunity tea, rather than sea pickles

1.1.1*

The teapot has been updated to use an interaction entity instead of an invisible wandering trader

Tweaked the clearsight tea color in preparation for 1.20

Updated potion colors of clearsight, blind rage, and fortitude to fit in with new vanilla potion colors

1.1.0Beta 1+

You can now brew tea using an echo shard to create Tea of Illumination, which gives darkness immunity

Beta 1*

Mining fatigue immunity tea is now made from sponge water

  • Made by clicking a wet sponge on a teapot, which will give you a dry sponge in return
  • Sponge drowned only spawn in monuments due to this change in order to prevent monument cheesing
1.0.0Release*

Making tea is now time-based

  • Each ingredient added takes time before it gets brewed into the tea with a bubbling sound effect

Teas no longer require teacups to take out of the teapot. Instead, you simply use a glass bottle. Less useless items and steps!

Some ingredients have changed

  • Blindness Immunity: Glow Lichen -> Sea Pickle
  • Weakness Immunity: Blaze Powder -> Sightless Eye (New item, see above)
Release-

This was just a glass bottle made of quartz. Seriously. It didn’t have any functional differences, so I just replaced it with a basic glass bottle.

0.5.0Beta 3*

Tons and tons of texture changes. Dyed bundles, frostblooms, frostbloom petals, gobblerifts, sweet berry muffins, swordfish, jewelry tables, enchanters, iceologers, cakes, bat wings, lockets of learning, peculiar berries, rings, smoldering seekers, teacups, and rotten porkchops. Basically anything that looked kinda iffy last version. They’ve all been fixed up. Frostblooms are my particular favorite this version, they’ve definitely got quite the glow-up. Especially the petals, too!

Beta 2+

You can now put snail mucus into your tea to increase the duration of the negative effect immunity from 5:00 to 7:30.

Beta 1+

New paintbrush and teapot sounds

Beta 1*

Clearsight tea is now made using glow lichen, rather than glowstone dust

0.4.0+

Tea and teapots. Place a teapot atop a campfire, pour in a bottle of water, and add some warped wart. Add the right ingredient to make a tea.

  • Wither Rose -> Tea of Purity, Wither immunity
  • Honey Bottle -> Tea of Antitoxin, Poison immunity
  • Glowstone Dust -> Tea of Clearsight, Blindness immunity
  • Sweet Berries -> Tea of Plenty, Hunger immunity
